The Legal Aid Clinic for Women in Family Law, which is a part of the Rackman Center publishes Mock Trial booklets on a yearly basis. The booklets present the legal material, prepared as part of the student’s Mock Trial, which is part of their work at the clinic. Students who work at the clinic work on different cases concerning women in family matters such as divorce, custody claims, lawsuits and claims of proprietary foods. The practical work, similar to the specializing period, includes preparation of pleadings and preparing legal research, watching debates in court, attending meetings with clients, writing proposals, submitting position papers and more. The culmination of the program is the Mock Trial.
