We ran our annual Halachic Conference on the subject: “Marriage Outside of the Rabbinate in Israel – Challenging the Status Quo״. The conference was run together with Naamanei Torah VeAvodah.
The Conference included presentations from various standpoints on this topic – halachic marriage without the rabbanut as well as according to the rabbanut. In addition we presented a report, compiled thanks to IREP’s sponsorship on the topic. It was a very informative evening on an increasingly more prevalent topic here in Israel.
