IN ISRAELI FIRST, DIVORCE REFUSER TO FACE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION

Gordetzki, a client of the Rackman Center at Bar-Ilan University, began a hunger strike to awaken Knesset members and rabbis to act on her behalf and that of women in her condition and to release her from her agonizing situation, of being chained to her marriage for 17 years.​
