The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) will hold a dialogue in Geneva with the Israeli delegation to discuss the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in Israel. Dr. Galit Shaul, CEO of the Rackman Center, will represent the Rackman Center.
As part of the official dialogue, civil society organizations from Israel will appear before the committee.
Today, the women’s organizations convened to discuss the agenda for tomorrow’s speeches. Our representative, Dr. Galit Shaul, will deliver the first speech of the organizations at 17:00 (Israel time). Watch the live broadcast
The committee is chaired by Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, an independent expert who currently serves as the vice chairperson of the Committee for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women.
