The lectures of the Tager international conference were recorded and are now available for viewing via Rackman’s center YouTube channel.
The conference featured lecturers from Israel and abroad, members of various faiths, including keynote speaker, The Right Hon. the Baroness (Brenda) Hale of Richmond, former President of the United Kingdom Supreme Court, and presenters from the Harvard Divinity School, the National Islamic University, Aix-Marseille University, Brandeis University, Bar-Ilan University and other academic institutions.
The online event included the official opening of the virtual exhibition “’’Body Text’: Feminist Art in Diverse Religio-Cultural Spheres in Israel”. The exhibition may be viewed here.
The conference was chaired by Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, Academic Director of BIU’s Rackman Center for the Advancement of Women’s Status, and Dr. Ronit Irshai of the Gender Studies Program at Bar-Ilan. Both the conference and exhibition were made possible through the generosity of Esther and Romie Tager (QC) of London
