Last week, we marked the completion of the psychotherapy internship year at the Rackman Center in the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University. Through our academic collaboration with Seminar HaKibbutzim and the Shiluv Center, our psychotherapy students have been providing free treatments to women going through separation and divorce processes.
This year, three psychotherapy students completed two-year internships at the Rackman Center: Efrat Klish (Shiluv Center graduate), Tali Roter and Anal Gafni Gorfinkel (Seminar HaKibbutzim graduates). Thanks to the program, 17 women have received free individual therapy at a time when they really needed it but could not afford to pay for it.
Some of our students will continue to meet with their patients during the summer break and into the next academic year. We are very grateful that you chose to intern with us and we thank you for your meaningful social contribution.
