Bar Ilan University Held a Solidarity Conference Aimed at Eliminating Violence against Women, Moderated by Rackman Center’s Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari.
Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, commended Bar Ilan’s initiative to join institutions across Israel who joined together to protest against the increasing number of cases of women who have been victims of violence in Israel, with 24 women tragically murdered just this year as a result of domestic violence. The Conference was very well attended and was run by The Rackman Center together with the Gender Studies Program and the Student Union.
